At Munich Jewelery Week, designers show off their sparkling skills.
Jewelry lovers will get their money's worth here throughout Munich.
And now the good news: Even if you avoid chocolate, gummy bears, etc. during Lent, the cotton candy that artist Ely Milano creates is guaranteed to be sweetener-free.
“Cotton Candy” is what the Italian calls the ring, whose wires nestle in circular movements around the wearer’s skin – like cotton candy around the wooden stick.
So you can bring your appetite to the Munich Jewelery Week (MJW), which takes place from today until March 3, 2024.
Every spring, the independent, artist-organized contemporary jewelry initiative invites you to discover sparkling works.
Students who are still at the very beginning of their careers are represented here, as are aspiring and already established jewelry artists - they all present their objects in a unique way.
Since its founding in the early 2000s, the MJW has grown steadily and is now considered the world's leading event in this field and a marketplace for great talent.

Driven by jewelry designers who organized exhibitions throughout the city, Munich Jewelry Week was created parallel to the International Craft Fair and the Munich Jewelry Fair.
The events range from exhibitions, panel discussions and artist talks to performances and parties - there are no limits to the artists' creative ideas.
The entire program can be explored on a digital map.
For example, you come across the group exhibition “Schmuck über alles – jelly all over”, which opens on February 29th at 6 p.m. in the Monacensia in the Hildebrandhaus.
Or the fruity-sweet title “Drops of the Juice”: a solo exhibition by Danni Chen;
The opening is here on February 28, 2024 at 2 p.m. in The Tiger Room gallery.
Well, get it!
Until March 3, 2024 throughout Munich
