Surat Diamond Bourse/documentation in social networks under Section 27 A of the Copyright Act
The Pentagon, the headquarters of the United States Department of Defense, which is located in Virginia, was the largest business center in the world for eight long decades - until last December;
The prestigious title was picked up by an impressive new diamond exchange (Surat Diamond Bourse) which recently opened in the city of Surat, in western India.

The new diamond exchange consists of nine towers, each with 15 floors, connected by a central spine.
According to Morphogenesis, the architecture firm behind its design - the building encompasses 660,451 square meters of office space, which exceeds the area of the Pentagon, which is about 620,000 square meters.
As the name of the new business center suggests, its main occupation will be diamond trading, when it will contain the offices of over 4,500 diamond dealers, as well as the first diamond mall of its kind in the world - which includes 27 showrooms of diamond jewelry.
The impressive center opened with a grand launch ceremony on December 17, 2023, attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The new complex is of high national importance, as it is supposed to become a world center of research and trade in diamonds, and attract many traders and tourists to the city of Surat, which has ambitions to become the diamond capital of the world.
We should note that India is not even in the top 10 diamond producers in the world, but the city of Surat has risen and become an important center of diamond trade in recent years, in addition to another large diamond exchange in the city of Mumbai.
