The March to Jerusalem organized by the families of over 130 Israeli hostages still in the hands of the Islamic faction started from Reim - one of the kibbutzim on the border with Gaza most affected by the Hamas attack on 7 October.
The march - which will end next Saturday - will pass through some of the sites of the Hamas attack, including the town of Sderot.
Taking part are not only the relatives of the kidnapped but also several former hostages.
Everyone hopes that the arrival in Jerusalem coincides with the announcement of a new agreement for the release of the hostages.
