As a statement to fashion and its own heritage, Saint Laurent distilled the obvious separation of clothing and body, all drapery and sensuality.
The guests, handpicked, were seated in a boudoir lounge of two circular rooms, whose velvet curtains evoked the salons of Avenue Marceau, where the couturier had his workshops.

Among them, in the front row, Virginie Efira was seated alongside Catherine Deneuve and Charlotte Gainsbourg, also friends of the brand.
For the occasion, the 46-year-old actress wore a shiny black leather trench coat over a draped dress, the cutout of which went up to the top of the thigh.
The ultra-long coat - it goes down to the ground, as much as the draped dress, like many of the emblematic silhouettes of Saint Laurent... and Virginie Efira.
Last year, for the Saint Laurent men's fall-winter 2023 show, the actress opted for a look that couldn't be more similar, except that the coat was in wool and the dress was unslit.
During the spring-summer 2024 show last September, she dropped the jacket and only kept the pleated dress.
