Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is in Tirana today to meet the leaders of the countries of south-eastern Europe, a summit organized together with the Albanian government.
And it is precisely with Prime Minister Edi Rama that Zelensky met this morning, before the summit.
"With the unshakable friend of Ukraine we will discuss defense and political cooperation, support for the Peace Formula and security agreements", wrote the Ukrainian president on the social media X, appreciating the fact that "Albania is one of the countries that signed the Vilnius G7 Declaration".
During the summit, where he will also have bilateral meetings with the heads of state and prime ministers of the countries present, Zelensky said he wanted to propose "support for Ukraine's efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace, as well as to organize the global summit on peace in Switzerland".
Today's summit will be "a meeting of solidarity and further commitment of our democracies against Russian aggression", Albanian Prime Minister Rama reiterated in his post on Facebook.
