His first scene?
A classroom platform.
It was thanks to a 5-minute carte blanche offered by his history teacher at high school that Tareek released his first jokes in front of his laughing classmates.
Almost thirty years later, the joke virus has not let go of this former finalist of “France has an incredible talent” who succeeds in breaking through today on tour and in Paris, every Thursday at the Apollo Théâtre, with “Vérité”, an endearing stand-up show in which the 46-year-old comedian talks about his divorce, his daughter and interacts brilliantly with his audience.
The career of Tareek (Tarik Raifak in civilian life)?
Not a long, quiet river.
The man who, with his baccalaureate in his pocket, put on a show in the back rows of the amphitheaters of his medical school, quickly left university studies to launch into humor and the Parisian scenes of Bec fin or Field.
