The Balkany couple facing financial difficulties?

In any case, this is what Isabelle Balkany said on the set of the show “Chez Jordan”, opposite Jordan De Luxe on C8, where she spoke about her daily life strongly impacted by price increases.

Asked about the amount she would need each month to “live properly”, the former first deputy mayor of Levallois-Perret (Hauts-de-Seine) says she “struggles” and “sticks out her tongue” like all French people because of inflation.

“We live in a big house that needs to be maintained (…) The water has increased, the electricity has increased, the fuel has increased, everything has increased.

We have difficulty and we stick out our tongues like everyone else,” she concedes.

Asked about potential debts that she could have with her husband, Isabelle Balkany assures that she has none but according to her, her income is not enough.

“People don't even need to have debt to be struggling, they're just like us,” she repeats.

When the presenter tells her that it is possible to live well with the 4,000 euros she earns each month, her guest defends herself.

“It’s waist-high.

If we were in a studio yes, but not in a big house, because it’s complicated,” she insists.

When Jordan De Luxe asks her what it would be like with 5,000 euros per month, Isabelle Balkany agrees before replying: “I don't do the additions”.

“I simply note that over the past seven years, the purchasing power of the French has declined considerably and so has ours.

I find it dramatic and shameful for France,” concluded Patrick Balkany’s wife.
