Nahal Bethlehem/Ziv Reinstein
Nof HaGilil, aka the former Upper Nazareth, has been renewed in an accessible hiking trail located in the Iros Park in the Nahal Tabor basin, which connects residents and travelers to nature and the spectacular blossoms of Mount Yona.
As part of the project, the removal of geophytes (tubers), work to expose the path area and its paving, seating and observation areas were carried out.
The highlight of the trail is a floating bridge, which provides an experience of viewing the landscape from a high balcony in the heart of the trail.
But most of the glory of the park, and also its name, come from the spotted Nazareth iris that blooms during this period throughout the Galilee landscape.

2 km easy to walk
The project is a partnership of the Galilee Landscape Municipality, the South Jordan Drainage and Streams Authority and the Israel Lands Authority (RMI) - the Fund for the Preservation of Open Areas. A accessible path connects to the Fallen Park on Atara Street, thus completing the accessible path, which begins in the Har Yona D neighborhood, which is under construction Accelerated.
These days, after the rains, the entire park was filled with colorful and rare blooms of the Nazareth Iris, as mentioned, mountain tulips, anemones and primroses and all around is green and abundant with natural vegetation unique to the region.
The park is accessible to travelers and offers an easy walking route on a 2 km circular path, surrounding the peak of the mountain and connects the old and the new neighborhood in the Galilee landscape.
Observation points have been placed along the entire path from where you can look out over the Galilee and the Jezreel Valley, and of course rest areas.
It is recommended to continue on the path to the top of the mountain, where a "floating bridge" awaits - an observation deck overlooking the green spaces and from where you can return to the starting point.
Additional walking paths that diverge from the circular path will lead you towards the neighborhoods of Nof HaGalil.
