The delivery of Palestinian humanitarian aid facilitated by the Israeli army puts soldiers in danger.
This was said by the Israeli Minister of National Security and radical right leader Itamar Ben Gvir, referring to the incident north of Gaza where, according to Hamas, over 100 people were killed by soldiers waiting for help.
A version that Israel disputed by showing a video of the crowd attacking the aid trucks.
"Today - he added - it has been proven that the transfer of humanitarian aid to Gaza is not only madness while our hostages are held in the Strip, but also harms the army soldiers".
The accident - according to Ben Gvir - "is another clear reason why we must stop the transfer of this aid".
