A source told the tabloid
The Sun
that the investigation had revealed nothing and that the Formula 1 boss was therefore cleared.
According to this same source, Christian Horner’s family would now be “relieved and delighted that it is over”.
In particular his wife, who allegedly “supported Christian like a rock”.
Despite this conclusion in his favor, the head of Red Bull would “not want to party after what he has been through”.
Not to mention that the employee who initiated this investigation still has a right of appeal.
A mixed relief
Although relieved, the Halliwell-Horner family would nevertheless emerge scratched by this episode.
