Poste Italiane closes the 2023 financial year with revenues up by 5.4% to 12 billion euros, "with a solid contribution from payments and financial services", a net profit of 1.9 billion euros (+22.1%) and a Ebit at record 2.62 billion (+9.4%), more than doubled compared to the 2017 level and in line with the 2023 guidance of 2.60 billion, a break-even ahead of the guidance, achieved by the business unit correspondence, parcels and distribution, with revenues of 3.7 billion euros in 2023, up 2.6% on an annual basis.
The group announced this by disseminating the preliminary results and proposing a growing dividend of 0.80 euros per share, for a total amount of dividends for 2023 of one billion (+23%).
