The baked cheese with Brussels sprouts works like this:

For baked cheese with Brussels sprouts you need these ingredients:

  • 500 g Brussels sprouts, washed into whole florets

  • 400g potatoes, cut into large cubes

  • 4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped

  • 4 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

  • 1.5 tsp coarse sea salt

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 4-6 sprigs of rosemary

  • 1 (180 g) baked cheese or soft cheese in a wooden bowl

  • 50 g walnuts, finely chopped

Preparation only takes a few minutes and is very easy:

  • Preheat oven to 180 °C fan oven.

  • In a large bowl, combine the Brussels sprouts, potatoes, garlic, oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, honey and rosemary and spread on a baking sheet.

    Leave a hole in the middle for the baked cheese.

    Bake the vegetables in the oven for about 15 minutes.

  • Place the oven cheese in the wooden box between the vegetables and bake for another ten minutes.

    Then take the baked cheese out of the oven, make cross-shaped cuts on the surface and open up the cheese wedges.

    Sprinkle with walnuts and bake for another ten minutes until the cheese has melted.

  • Serve and enjoy!
