The golden finishes of the bronzes that narrate Thought and Action will shine again and which, together with the winged Victories and the flagpoles that raise the flags, celebrate the Victorian era.

The restoration work will begin next week on the works that decorate the main façade of the Roman monument which the Vive, the Vittoriano and Palazzo Venezia hub, will carry out thanks to the contribution of Bulgari, the luxury maison which renews its inseparable bond with this new work of patronage with Rome and with art.

After the restoration of the Goddess Rome and the friezes of the Altare della Patria by Angelo Zanelli, the new project now begins and will end at the end of September which, in addition to the sculptures, involves the restoration of the two fountains located on the sides of the main entrance, dominated by the personifications of Adriatic Sea and Tyrrhenian Sea, inspired by the Roman models placed by Michelangelo in the nearby Campidoglio.

"These are works of notable artistic, historical and symbolic value which materialize the founding values of our Risorgimento" says the director of Vive, Edith Gabrielli, presenting the project on which the luxury maison, founded in Rome in 1884, has committed itself.

"In addition to being the place where the brand was born 140 years ago, the eternal city is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for Bulgari. We are proud to be able to contribute to being an example of those who, like us, understand the inexhaustible value of such beauty" said the CEO of the Bulgari Group, JeanChristophe Babin". The intervention will be financed by a donation of 240 thousand euros made through the Art Bonus.

Over the years, Bulgari has already financed, among others, the restoration of the mosaics in Caracalla, works at Palazzo Braschi, the restoration of two paintings by Paolo Veronese and marbles from the Torlonia collection and invested 1 million euros to allow accessibility to the Sacred Area of Largo Argentina.
