The dish Spaghetti Bolognese is a German classic with an Italian flair that is popular with the whole family.
No matter whether you are a gourmet or a foodie, young or old, there is one dish that has won a permanent place in the hearts and stomachs of Germans: the good old spaghetti bolo.
This pasta classic has established itself in German kitchens over the years and can be found in restaurants and canteens as well as at home.
The simple minced meat and tomato sauce has little to do
with the original Italian recipe
Ragù alla bolognese .
But that doesn't detract from its popularity and spaghetti Bolognese remains firmly in the top 10 most popular dishes among Germans, alongside pizza, lasagne, roulades and currywurst.
By the way, the Simply Tasty team tested where to eat the best currywurst in Berlin.
The classic Spaghetti Bolognese is so easy:
The following ingredients are required for the popular dish Spaghetti Bolognese:
Bolognese sauce:
2 tbsp cooking oil
500g minced meat
100 g onions, diced
5 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp sugar
3 tbsp tomato paste
2 bay leaves
150 g carrots, diced
150 g celeriac, diced
250 ml red wine
500 g chopped tomatoes (canned)
1 tbsp oregano
In addition:
250g spaghetti
Parmesan, freshly grated
parsley, chopped
Simply Tasty Tip:
It's always worth cooking twice as much minced meat sauce.
Because it tastes even better when warmed up or you can freeze it for a quick meal in the future.
The preparation is easy and it pays off:
For the Bolognese sauce:
Heat the oil in a deep pan and fry the minced meat until crumbly.
Add onions, garlic, salt, pepper and sugar and sauté.
Add tomato paste and bay leaves and fry briefly.
Add vegetables and fry for another 3 minutes.
Deglaze with red wine and chopped tomatoes and season with oregano.
Cover and simmer for at least an hour, stirring occasionally.
In the meantime, prepare spaghetti according to package instructions.
Then serve spaghetti with Bolognese.
Grated Parmesan and chopped parsley go well with it.
Soooo good!
The recipe for spaghetti Bolognese is delicious for young and old alike.
