I went from being 'an ungrateful showgirl' to the Milan court which denied me all my rights.
A 10 year leap in which I felt a bit harassed.

The only thing I could do was take a few steps back and I learned to take those, perhaps from horse riding". This was stated by Veronica Lario, ex-wife of Silvio Berlusconi, for the first time on TV, guest of 'A dinner with Maria Latella' the dinner talk broadcast tomorrow at 9pm on Sky TG2.
For the former Mrs Berlusconi it is an absolute first: it is the first time in a TV program and the first time she has spoken to the public since the separation from the Cavaliere began in 2009.
The episode, dedicated to artificial intelligence and the potential effects on the present and future from education to work, addresses a topic that is very close to Veronica today, who recently invested in a small start-up.
"Initially I dedicated myself to my great passion which was horses. A passion that I had never thought of cultivating. After the separation I started riding horses. At 55 when someone stops I started. It helped me a lot, I I used a lot of hippotherapy which helped me a lot in these years of difficult moments in which it was better to close than to open up", said Veronica Lario, explaining that she started practicing horse riding "to follow my grandchildren, but then everyone stopped and I continued."
When asked if she could be considered a non-blackmailable woman, Berlusconi's ex-wife replied: "I have no reason to because I don't carry any secrets with me, I have no secrets about Berlusconi's business or his life apart and therefore I can say what I think regardless of my past which has no secrets."
"There was a sentence that denied me any rights that I respected and today I am a normal person, an entrepreneur. Once this moment was over, which was very complex for me, I asked myself if it would be possible to start again because I thought that for me there was nothing left. I thought 'maybe the power won', but in the end I said to myself it's not impossible and I tried", he added.
As for his company dealing with artificial intelligence and what his children think of him, Lario adds: "My children are surprised but it is a reason for discussion."
Berlusconi's ex-wife then makes it known that the most interested is his daughter Barbara.
"The characters who have passed through Berlusconi's living rooms have always been of a high level and in some way I have always been fascinated by them, but I never thought of finding my own space within those dynamics. I was there because I respected a role, I was trying to do it as best I could and for me it meant taking a step back," she said, answering a question about her role as first lady.
"I have an ideal window and when I open it in the morning I see the future, then I have one behind me that I don't open much, I always look at the one that shows me the future", stated Veronica Lario, answering a question on what not would do it again.
As for what might scare her about the future of her 10 grandchildren, Lario replies: "Wars scare me because I was born 10 years after the end of the Second World War, so I have many stories about my family, who lived near Marzabotto. always listened to and experienced in a dramatic way but war is a separate discussion. I think that young people have a future and in this future there are new dimensions such as the metaverse for which 'I think very positively'.
