Located along the Saint-Martin canal (Paris Xe), the Schweitzer crystal factory has been part of the decor since 1890. In this place where time has stood still, glass and crystal objects are repaired in the old-fashioned way, with vintage machines.
“We are the last in the capital to do it,” says Clémence Magnier, who took over management of the crystal factory in 2021. But financial concerns are now threatening the future of this historic workshop.

“The chasm formed during Covid,” explains Clémence.
We did not benefit from state aid and many customers did not come to collect and pay for their part, even though the work had been done,” she says.
A debt which today amounts to 60,000 euros.
To save her business, this young 36-year-old manager launched a fundraiser.
