A worker died after the collapse of a construction site that collapsed this Friday afternoon in Palermo, in Uriarte at 1700. Another worker was rescued in critical condition and rushed to the Pirovano hospital.
Around 3:46 p.m. this Friday, several calls came to the 911 complex, reporting the collapse of a construction site.
Firefighters from the City and the Neighborhood Police Station 14A are working at the scene and were able to verify that there were two people trapped under the rubble.

The work consisted of a ground floor and a first floor in the concreting stage.
The latter was made almost entirely of wood and was the area that collapsed.
The area is temporarily surrounded by the authorities.
