The newly elected president of Finland, Alexander Stubb, took part this evening in the inauguration ceremony in Helsinki where the baton was passed from his predecessor, Sauli Niinistö.
During the event, Stubb gave a speech in which he thanked Niinistö for his 12 years as head of state. "We live in a time of worry and disorganization," Stubb underlined in his first official speech as president.
