The privatization of Poste, such as to maintain in public hands a share of no less than 35%, "can be carried out, even in several phases, through the single and/or joint use of a public sale offer aimed at the saving public in Italy, including employees of the Poste Italiane group, and/or to Italian and international institutional investors, or through placement on the market, including through accelerated sales methods or through block sales".
This can be read in the Prime Ministerial Decree sent to the Chamber for the parliamentary opinion of the Transport and Budget commissions.
"In order to encourage participation in the offer by the general public of savers and employees of the Poste Italiane Group, also taking into account market practice and previous privatization operations, - we read in the provision - forms of incentives may be provided in terms of reserved quotas of the offer and/or price (also differentiated for the general public and employees) and/or, as regards employees, financing methods".
