"We would like to know if Elly Schlein only reserves solidarity for the students involved in the Pisa demonstration, or even for the children of those policemen, unjustly threatened and insulted, even forced not to go to school for fear of the reactions of their classmates. In fact, there should not be a double standards, given that these are always young people. Not only that, but in this last case we are faced with a double psychological violence, both towards the children of the policemen on whom they would like to make their fathers' profession fall, and towards their fathers, guilty of serve the State and guarantee public order. An affair, the one reported by the media, which should give pause to those who, from the events in Pisa, drew inspiration for a generic summary trial against the Police Force, which ended up not only delegitimizing their action but to indicate them and their families as easy targets for some troublesome bullies".
This was declared by the group leader of the Brothers of Italy in the Chamber of Deputies, Tommaso Foti.
