"I'm happy that Giorgia is back, we have a lot to discuss," said Joe Biden in the meeting with the Italian prime minister.
"We need a global alliance against human traffickers", the Prime Minister then stated.
"The G7 will also pay particular attention to the African continent, Africa is not a poor continent, on the contrary it has important human and natural resources but has been exploited with a predatory approach - said Meloni -. I want to reverse this approach together with you, and it is also a response to the migration crisis. We must support the development of Africa and put an end to illegal migration and human trafficking.
