The campaign promoted by Business at the OECD, which represents the private sector with over 10 million companies in over 55 countries, started in Rome, with the aim of disseminating the Manifesto, which promotes treating anti-corruption as the eighteenth point of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs ), considering corrupt behavior among the main causes of inequalities in the world.
It is in this context that the "ZeroCorruption Forum" of the Biac (Business at OECD) was held today, under the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at Lumsa University, promoted by Autostrade per l'Italia, attended by OECD representatives, Italian institutions, universities, as well as top managers of large companies.
The day was also an opportunity to present the Paper "Shaping the values for a sustainable future Education for the fight against corruption", dedicated to the promotion of education and training, key factors to "ensure integrity, transparency and ethical standards within every corporate and institutional process".
Within the text, created by the Business Anti-Corruption Committee at OECD, concrete experiences from the public and private sector are cited and analyzed to limit the opacity resulting from any form of corruption.
"We are committing ourselves because we believe it is an enabling factor in our investment plan, we have a program of very large investments, strengthening, modernizing and transforming the sustainability of rubber; to be able to do this, a fundamental element is to be certain that the integrity with which we make the things are effectively pursued", said the CEO of Autostradeper l'Italia, Roberto Tomasi.
