Next week the Arera "should decide on a 2% drop in gas tariffs for the month of February for vulnerable users" (the former protected market which ended on January 10th) while "for the electricity market" which will be protected until next July , the decision is expected in a month, when the tariffs should fall by 8%, valid for the second quarter of 2024". This is the estimate that the president of Nomisma energia, Davide Tabarelli, makes to ANSA. "The average savings for the typical family it will be 76 euros for gas on an annual basis, based on the drop in February", while for electricity "the savings will be 50 euros per year".
