With signs in hand, several activists from the animal rights association Peta entered the podium of the ex-Spice Girl's fashion show, this Friday, March 1, as part of Paris Fashion Week.

It's only her second year as a designer presented at Paris Fashion Week, and already Victoria Beckham is the target of detractors.

This Friday, March 1, the ex-Spice Girl presented - on crutches - her new collection within the walls of the Salomon de Rothschild hotel in Paris, in front of an audience of stars: her almost entire family, made up of David Beckham, Harper, Cruz and Brooklyn, but also Anna Wintour and Kim Kardashian.

If her satin dresses, blazer jackets and leather coats were applauded, her stylistic direction did not please a few hecklers, hidden between the rows during the event.

This time, not Marie is infiltrating, but several activists from the animal rights association Peta (

).

The latter in fact disrupted the show by entering the podium with signs and t-shirts flocked with vegan slogans.

“Animals are not tissues”

“Long live vegan leather”, “Turn your back on animal skins” or even “Animals are not fabrics”, we could read before they were escorted towards the exit by security agents.

An action clearly claimed by Peta which immediately wrote this message on social networks: “No clothing is worth the slaughter and butchering of a sensitive animal.

Victoria Beckham, animals are not textiles.”

The association thus addressed the designer, calling on her to stop using calfskin for her pieces and to use, instead, “ethical, ecological and high-end innovations now available”.

The person concerned has not yet responded to this request.
