If the November presidential candidates are
Donald Trump
and
Joe Biden,
48% of Americans would vote for the tycoon.
This was established by the latest poll by the New York Times/Siena according to which only one voter in four believes that the USA is moving in the right direction.
More than twice as many voters believe Biden's policies have hurt them, and a majority believe the economy is in terrible shape.
The percentage of Americans who would vote for the Democrat is 43%, while those who "strongly disapprove" of him reached 47%, the highest ever recorded by NYT polls.
