A customer's receipt shows a mega bargain: Edeka was probably accidentally far too cheap.
This is where many listen up.
Hamburg – Having found a bargain inspires enthusiasm in many people.
No matter whether you are specifically looking for offers or have simply stumbled upon a good opportunity.
As a rule, companies deliberately offer their products at an extra low price through promotions or brochures - but in the specific case reported by a user on MyDealz, it seems to be a glitch.
The price per kilo was probably simply missing a zero.

Edeka price error in Hamburg: Cheese only costs 2.29 euros per kilo
“Price error” is the common term.
And you can definitely turn your nose up: It doesn't seem to have been intentional that the Edeka Volker Klein branch in the EEZ in Hamburg offered the cheese so cheaply.
However, the bargain hunter boasted about his catch on Friday (March 1) and called on others to do the same.
“Just discovered the following price error while shopping at the weekend,” he writes and scoffs.
“The intern must have had one Secco too many during his lunch break.
The cheese can be found to the left of the cheese counter and there was still plenty there 30 minutes ago.
Bon appetit."
It was probably about this cheese.

One of the matching photos shows what he means: The price per kilo for the cheese is 2.29 euros, so the 160 grams that the Edeka customer bought went through the checkout for 37 cents.
It didn't stop there: Another photo shows that he took four pieces of cheese with him.
A small bulk purchase.
Can you access it with a clear conscience?
“Awesome” and “You can freeze cheese,” cheer the users.
After 17 hours, the rating in the portal's temperature-focused system is +670 degrees - that's a lot.
Edeka price error: Some people don't want to buy something like this without hesitation
Since the catch is only available in a single supermarket, it is of course uninteresting for many users.
They prefer to make jokes – as they do with another bizarre event around Black Friday.
“I just have to calculate how many kilos are worth the trip from the Ruhr area,” jokes one person.
“And the first copies are already on the classified ads” is another.
The Edeka customer apparently bought four of them.

However, the deal is not without criticism: “Honourable, maybe you would point out the error to the people at Edeka before you post it here,” says one.
“I would just point this out to little Volker (meaning the Edeka operator, editor’s note) instead of participating in it,” another said.
