There are current government representatives such as ministers
Guido Crosetto
, from a complaint from which the investigation now started in Perugia,
Francesco Lollobrigida
,
Marina Elvira Calderone
,
Gilberto Pichetto Fratin
and
Adolfo Urso
together with
Marta Fascina
, parliamentarian and partner of
Silvio Berlusconi
, the former prime ministers
Giuseppe Conte
and
Matteo Renzi
, but also
Fedez
,
Cristiano Ronaldo
and
Massimiliano Allegri
among those who were allegedly spied on by the financier
Pasquale Striano
when he was on duty at the national anti-mafia prosecutor's office.
A picture that emerges in the investigation by the Perugia Prosecutor's Office according to which the information is the result of approximately
800 unauthorized accesses to the database relating to reports of suspicious transactions
.
However, there is currently no evidence in the investigation documents that dossiers have been created on institutional figures or politicians.
And therefore that information was used.
For Forza Italia group leader in the Senate,
Maurizio Gasparri
, however,
"a thorough inspection"
of the anti-mafia prosecutor's office is needed.
"We will talk about it in Parliament because the matter cannot end here" he underlined.
For the magistrates of the Umbrian capital led by
Raffaele Cantone
at the moment no real dossier activity emerges but they still believe that there have been accesses considered abusive to the computer system of the so-called SOS, the operations considered suspicious which the financial operators are required to report and which the judiciary must then shed light on to establish whether they represent something illicit or whether they are normal transactions.
A sort of trawling search that Striano would have often carried out, according to what has been ascertained so far, finding nothing.
Among the personalities covered by the research are also the undersecretaries
Andrea Delmastro
and
Giovanbattista Fazzolari
,
Olivia Paladino
, Giuseppe Conte's partner,
Marco Carrai
or names of people unrelated to politics, as well as
Andrea Agnelli
and the president of the Football Federation
Giuseppe Gravina
.
Why Striano carried out the research is still the subject of the investigation which involves around fifteen people including some journalists who received Usigrai's solidarity "because they simply did their job as investigative journalists".
However, it emerges that Straino did not receive any money from anyone who provided the information.
His defender has underlined in the past that the lieutenant "always acted within the rules and following the directives that came to him".
"We know nothing about the dossier" said the lawyer.
However, the investigation has already had political implications.
"I believe that an immediate inspection should be carried out and an assessment should be made as to whether extraordinary measures should then be taken to guide this body which appears to have escaped control" said Gasparri speaking of the anti-mafia prosecutor's office.
"It is not possible - he added - that only a sergeant from the financial police could have run around in databases carrying out acts that seem absolutely outside of any rules".
"The National Anti-Mafia Prosecutor's Office, in addition to churning out candidates for the left, should be a body of extreme guarantee on a delicate front for the security of the State" he continued.
For the senator "this affair casts a shadow on this fundamental institution".
