Switzerland has a new ultra-rich this Saturday evening.
A record jackpot of 64.59 million Swiss francs (more than 72.5 million euros) was won on Saturday in Switzerland by the holder of a single ticket, Swiss Lotto announced in a press release.
The winning ticket is held by a player in German-speaking or Italian Switzerland, the press release said, without giving further details.

According to the ATS Keystone press agency, this win is the largest ever won by a single player in more than 50 years of Swiss Lotto's existence.
The previous record stood at 48.6 million Swiss francs (more than 50 million euros).
A jackpot of 70 million Swiss francs had already been won in 2016, but it was shared between three players.
