: Before you actually mow the lawn, all residues such as leaves and coarse dirt should be removed to enable even lawn care.
First mowing the lawn after winter in March
: Mowing gently is advisable so as not to stress the lawn.
The cutting height should be chosen moderately so as not to put too much strain on the grass.
Scarifying the lawn
: Scarifying removes moss and thatch so that air and nutrients can reach the grass roots better.
This promotes the growth of a healthy lawn.
Liming the lawn
: Liming the lawn in spring can help regulate the pH value of the soil and thus promote the growth of the grass.
Distribute fertilizer on the lawn
: An organic or mineral fertilizer supplies the lawn with important nutrients and ensures vigorous growth.
Reseeding the lawn
: Gaps in the lawn can be closed by reseeding to ensure an even grass surface.
