With Désirée Nosbusch and Heiner Lauterbach there are two top-class actors who are taking part in the film adaptation of the thriller “Turmshatten” by Peter Grandl.
The first part of the trilogy will come to streaming provider Paramount+ in six episodes in 2023.

Along with “Turmgold,” “Tower Shadow” is part of a planned trilogy about the right-wing scene.
The first part, “Tower Shadows” is now coming to Paramount+ as a series, the publisher announced.
A spectacular crime keeps a small town in suspense: three neo-Nazis are held prisoner in a tower.
Ephraim Zamir, the hostage taker, confronts them about their violent acts during an interrogation and broadcasts the whole thing live on the Internet.
Viewers should vote: release or execute?
It is the beginning of a worldwide media spectacle.
For the police, it's a race against time.
What they don't expect: They are dealing with a former Mossad agent who is not willing to negotiate.

As a suspenseful high-end thriller, the series will be broadcast in six episodes in 2024 on the Paramount+ streaming service.
In addition to Heiner Lauterbach in the leading role of Holocaust survivor Ephraim Zamir, Désirée Nosbusch, Klaus Steinbacher, Milena Tscharntke, Anja Herden, Michael Roll, Samuel Koch and, as a guest, Ilja Richter were in front of the camera.
The episodes will be shown exclusively in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, UK, Canada, Australia and Latin America.

The author Peter Grandl initially published his novel “Tower Shadow” on the e-book platform Wattpad before it was published in a revised edition by Piper in 2022.
He received various awards for his debut as a writer, including the “Harzer Hammer” and the Political Crime Prize from the Heinrich Böll Foundation Baden-Württemberg.

He was also nominated for the GLAUSER Crime Prize and the Crime Cologne Award.
The sequel to the novel, “Tower Gold”, also takes place in the eponymous high-rise bunker and was published in bookstores in December 2022.
With “Hellfire”, his third thriller, which this time is set in the Munich underground, another work by the screenwriter will be published in January 2024.
The Crime Cologne and the prize of the same name go back to the publisher Hermann-Josef Emons.
The script was written by Peter Grandl with Christian Limmer and directed by Hannu Salonen.
The book is a gripping thriller that you won't really want to put down.
For fans of Heinrich Steinfest and the “Frau Faust” series by Antje Zimmermann.
