North Korea may have blocked the shipment of ammunition to Russia by sea, according to the online newspaper NK News.
The operation was reportedly suspended due to production disruption in North Korea or other logistical issues.
The Seoul-based media notes that no ships loaded with ammunition have appeared in Russian ports in recent weeks.
According to the portal, the four ships Angara, Maia-1, Maria and Lady R have so far transported ammunition to Russia, completing at least 32 trips.
The last visit of the Maia-1 to the North Korean port of Rason took place on 12 February, that of the Lady R on 4 February.
