At least one person died and seven others were injured in a Russian drone attack that hit the southern Ukrainian city of Odessa last night.

Governor Oleh Kiper says that among the injured there is also a three-year-old child, hospitalized with leg injuries.

The attack occurred around 00:40 local time.

The rescue operations are still underway, specify the Odessa authorities.

Damage was reported to several buildings in the city.


   A 76-year-old man died in another Russian drone attack that hit his house tonight in the Kupiansk district of the northeastern Ukrainian region of Kharkiv.

A few hours earlier, a drone attack had been announced on the city of Kharkiv, the capital of the region of the same name: four cars were destroyed and the windows of at least ten residential buildings were damaged but no victims were reported, according to governor Oleh Syniehubov.
