In the fourth quarter of 2023, gross domestic product (GDP), adjusted for calendar and seasonally adjusted effects, increased by 0.2% compared to the previous quarter and by 0.6% compared to the fourth quarter of 2022. This was reported by Istat, which in the complete estimate of the quarterly economic accounts it confirms the cyclical growth compared to the preliminary estimate at the end of January.
In trend terms, however, growth is slightly up compared to the 0.5% recorded preliminarily.
