Countdown for thousands of Italian students who will be able to put pen and paper aside in just over twenty days.
In fact, the second "important" break of the school year will arrive shortly, the one that coincides with the
Easter holidays.
A break in lessons for about a week which will allow students to recharge their batteries in view of the final sprint between the desks.
The regions established the school calendar well in advance, indicating the start and end days of lessons, as well as the suspension days for holidays and long weekends.
For students, these are useful days of rest to unwind, but also to take stock of the situation and try to get through the remaining two months at school unscathed.
The student portal Skuola.net took stock of the situation regarding the beginning and end of the Easter break.
The dates of the Easter holidays, region by region
The last part of the year is always the most complicated for students: there are those who are sweating to catch up on one or more subjects, and those who will even have to make an extra effort to try to access the state exam scheduled for next June.
All of them can breathe a sigh of relief.
The second big break in lessons of the year is about to arrive, and a little earlier than in previous years: in 2024, in fact, Easter will be March 31st.
As usual, the following day - i.e. April 1st - will instead be Easter Monday (also known as Easter Monday).
Coming to the point, this year the Easter holidays will give students something more than a "long weekend" and, as usual, the regions are more or less all aligned on the days when lessons are closed.
All students will be able to put their backpacks aside for a while from Thursday 28 March 2024 until 2 April (inclusive), and then return to class on Wednesday 3 April 2024. With the sole exception of Valle d'Aosta: the calendar shows last day of holiday is April 1st, as indicated
in the Ministry summary.
Here the students will therefore return to class one day early, on April 2nd.
