Piazza Affari tries to rise (Ftse Mib +0.06%), which slowly climbs back up after a slight decline at the start.
The spread between German 10-year BTPs and Bunds is also on the rise, reaching 141.3 points, with the Italian annual yield falling by 2.7 points to 3.77% and the German one by 3 points to 2.35%.
The purchases are concentrated on Saipem (+2%), driven by Bloomberg analysts who see growth prospects in orders after the recent results and the update of the strategic plan to 2027. Iveco (+1.6%) is also in the spotlight, awaiting the Capital Market day announced for March 14th, Mediobanca (+1.5%) and Intesa (+1.4%).
Leonardo (+1.02%) and Poste (+0.85%) are doing well, Banco Bpm (+0.61%) and Bper (+0.58%) are more cautious, while Unicredit (-0.11%) appears weak .
Weak Moncler (-1.4%), Tim (-0.88%), Stellantis (-0.73%) and Eni (-0.7%), the latter penalized by the drop in crude oil (Wti -0.52 % at 78.35 dollars per barrel).
Among the smaller capitalization stocks, Webuild (+5.6%) sprints to the highest levels since March last year, and Lazio (+3.8%), a minus for Bialetti (-4.08%) and Zucchi (-3.37%).
