This is a video that is not going to make anyone any younger.
The most legendary British girl band wanted to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of its very first audition this Monday by publishing a video dating from March 4, 1994 on its social networks.
For the occasion, the group released a video where we see Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell Horner, Emma Bunton, Mel Brown and Mel Chisholm dancing, singing, rehearsing and laughing together during their very first rehearsal, on the song " Wannabe”
,
one of those which will make them famous throughout the world.
In it, we can see the good humor that seemed to reign within the group three decades ago.
“Today marks the thirtieth anniversary of the Spice Girls' very first audition.
What began in 1994 has turned out to be an incredible journey, more wonderful than anything we could have imagined.
Thank you to our fans for their support since day one,” they wrote on X and Instagram.
A message accompanied by the hashtag #FriendshipNeverEnds, in reference to their successful title and their friendship which does not seem to end any time soon.

Towards a reformation?
After their real success in the 1990s, the group separated in 2001 before reuniting six years later for the release of a best of album as well as for a world tour.
The group also reformed in 2012 for an event linked to the London Olympics, an event which remains as the last where the Spice Girls were reunited in full.
During their reunion tour organized between Ireland and the United Kingdom in 2019, Victoria Beckham was missing.
During an interview given last May to the British channel Sky News, Melanie Brown, aka “Mel B”, affirmed that the group would soon reform in full: “The five of us will soon do something, that will be announced,” she said.
A reformation which could be imminent following the new statements made by “Mel B” on the set of the show TODAY with Hoda & Jenna.
Last January, she announced “very good news in a few weeks”, even if she admitted that the return was complicated, because “there are five of us and we have five different agendas, and we are all mothers”.
