© Simply Tasty
Bring the Christmas market home.
You can see your breath and small wooden huts with colorful lighting show you the way through historic alleys.
You hear people talking and laughing.
And the smell of mulled wine, waffles, roasted almonds and chocolate fruits makes your stomach growl.
And then you are overcome by hunger for all the delicacies presented in front of you at the Christmas market.
When you arrive at the most colorful stand, your eyes light up.
Chocolate, roasted almonds and all sorts of other delicacies stretch across the entire counter.
You buy a bag of roasted almonds and every bite reminds you that Christmas is just around the corner.
But every almond also reminds you that you still haven't bought any presents and that you've spent quite a bit of change at the nice candy stand.

The solution: broken chocolate with roasted almonds.
Not only can you eat them yourself, but you can also prepare them wonderfully as a Christmas present for your loved ones.
This is how sweet chocolate with roasted almonds works:
You need these ingredients:
Roasted almonds:
100 ml water
200g sugar
1 pack vanilla sugar
0.5 tsp cinnamon
200g almonds
Aside from that:
600g chocolate of your choice, melted
The preparation couldn't be easier:
For the roasted almonds:
Pour water into a pan and mix with the sugar, vanilla sugar, cinnamon and cinnamon.
Then add the almonds.
Leave on the stove, stirring constantly, until the almonds are coated in a shiny brown caramel layer.
Spread the roasted almonds over a large area on a baking tray and allow to cool.
As soon as the caramel layer has dried, chop the almonds into coarse pieces and distribute them in three equal portions on the baking tray.
Melt the chocolate of your choice in a water bath or in the microwave.
Then pour the melted chocolate over the chopped almonds.
Let it cool and you're done!
Easier than ever and as delicious as at the Christmas market.
Tip
: Packed in bags, you can also give the chocolate as a gift.
