"I only dream of beating cancer. To return to the life I had before the disease," says

Shannon (Rafaela Sarah) Sultana

, who is currently fighting for her life after a malignant tumor was discovered in her brain.

Sultana is dealing with grade 4 brain cancer. This is a rare and violent tumor.

From the moment the cancer was discovered in her body, Sultana's life turned upside down.

She is only 26 years old, and was supposed to have finished her architecture studies not long ago, but instead, she is fighting valiantly with her illness.

"The cancer has been trying to stop my life for a long time," says Sultana.

"Cancer stopped my studies, my joy, but I will not let it stop my life. I woke up one morning and my head hurt so bad that I could hardly breathe. I never dreamed for a moment that after tests and imaging, the doctors would tell me that I had brain cancer, a tumor Violent and rare in the head in grade 4. When I heard the news, I asked the doctor if this cancer also has grade 5 or 6, but there isn't.

"All at once, from the highest and happiest place in my life, I found myself in the hospital days and nights.

Life stopped at once.

I had a tumor removal operation followed by a series of proton beams.

I lost my hair, I lost my joy, I lost the laughter, but not the faith in the name, which only grew stronger.

"I didn't break, I was looking for my chance to live"

"It is very difficult for me to see my family in pain because of my condition. My partner holds my hand and I show strength. I pray every day that this cancer will come out of me. After every series of treatments and radiation I went through, the doctors in Israel informed me that they could no longer help. There is no They have something to offer, the cancer is progressing and they have no way to treat me. But I didn't break down, I looked for my chance to live."

Now, the last resort that may save Shannon's life is an innovative treatment that can only be obtained in the United States.

This is post-proton therapy, which treats the specific cancer genes.

"After consultations with the top doctors in the world," says Sultana, "we found a brain cancer center in Los Angeles that specializes in the type of cancer that attacked me. They offer an innovative treatment that will include another surgery that can remove the entire tumor from my head. They offer me a chance to live, simply to save me".

But this is a very expensive treatment and her family can no longer afford the costs.

"When I heard the cost of the trip and the treatments, my body just shook," says Sultana.

"It's about millions of shekels which are my only chance to live. I'm not going to give up my life and certainly not because of money.

"Me and my family have always given to others, we've never asked for anything.

But, now I have no other choice and I need help.

I am embarking on the journey of my life - to fight for my life.

I want to fulfill a dream, to live and build a house in Israel, to have children.

Every day that passes decreases my chances of beating the cancer.

I am sure I will meet many good people who will be part of my journey.

Please, any donation, big or small, any help will help me live.

I promise to update on my victory, I just need your help."
