What's gone is gone - but one woman doesn't give up and relies on the postman's willingness to help.

However, your note received a lot of criticism.

Berlin - Long tours, constantly in motion, in wind and weather, delivering letters and packages on foot or by bike - the postman's job is physically demanding and certainly not easy.

But complaints about mail delivery keep circulating online.

Be it questionable storage locations or strange notification slips – postmen are often the target of angry customers.

But parcel deliverers also don't have it easy with the wishes of some customers and are occasionally faced with a number of challenges.

Just recently, a postwoman vented on Facebook after an eleven-hour shift.

Unusual request on a DHL note: Woman wants her pack of cigarettes back

Because it is not uncommon for postmen to receive bizarre notifications from customers.

A UPS customer requested a very unusual storage location that would require a lot of strength from the delivery person.

Now a woman in Berlin caused a lot of controversy on the social network with her unusual request to the postman.

After the Berlin smoker had a small mishap at the mailbox, she left the postman a DHL note with an urgent request: “Dear postman, I accidentally threw my box of red Gauloises into the mailbox!

It would be so grateful..." It is signed with the name Wibke, including the last name (hidden in the photo), a thank you and an address indicating which street the postman should take the pack of cigarettes to.

Woman leaves a note on the mailbox - Instagram users react with incomprehension and ridicule

The smoker's cry for help appeared on the Instagram page “Notes of Berlin,” which specializes in bizarre notes.

However, the authenticity of the note cannot be verified.

But many users don't think it's fake and react outraged.

“How do such people actually imagine logistics?

“That a postman comes with a sack and then sets off on foot to deliver the box?” comments one.

The majority probably shares the opinion, because the comment receives over 300 likes.

Other users also react with ridicule.

“Oh my goodness.

If losing a pack of cigarettes is so serious, you should think about giving up this expensive vice,” writes one.

“If she has the address on the box and put a stamp on it, maybe it will work,” commented another.

Leaving a note on the mailbox doesn't seem to be that unusual.

In the past, another postal customer also stuck a note to the mailbox with a similarly urgent request.
