Berlin – More and more people are eating at least some vegan or vegetarian diets.

Germany-wide recall started – There is a risk of salmonella with vegan products
The recall relates to the product “Vegan Mills Hack Mix and Ready” with the best-before date of January 31, 2025.
The manufacturer announced this in a press release.
“It cannot be ruled out that the products from the affected batch contain salmonella,” it says specifically.
If prepared correctly - i.e. heating the product before consumption - there is no risk.
However, the company strongly advises against consumption.

Acute intestinal inflammation can be accompanied by sudden onset of diarrhea as well as headaches and abdominal pain.
Malaise, vomiting and a slight fever are also common.
