After 25 years, they have a name behind the murder of the Sicilian Uil trade unionist Mico Geraci, killed with a barrage of shots fired from a shotgun on 8 October 1998 in Caccamo (Pa), in front of his son and wife.
The Carabinieri, delegated by the DDA of Palermo led by the prosecutor Maurizio de Lucia, served a precautionary custody order in prison on the bosses of Trabia, Pietro and Salvatore Rinella.
Over the years the investigation into the crime has been closed and reopened several times.
