Raised beds are practical because they allow gardeners to grow more ergonomically because they usually don't have to bend down that low.
They also conveniently protect against pests such as slugs simply because of their design.
But not all plants and vegetables are suitable for raised beds.
Zucchini, pumpkin or cabbage, for example, require a lot of space, which would not be ideal for the raised bed.
