Asked about his current lifestyle, the member of “Big Heads” confided that he had “always had the bailiffs on his ass”.

In question, a past scam, orchestrated by her ex-spouse.

“He opens a company in my name, I am a co-borrower of everything.

It’s an administrative sleight of hand, and three years later, it disappears with the cash register and I find myself with a colossal debt of 90,000 euros,” said the 50-year-old comedian on Sunday on RTL, without specifying the date on which the facts occurred.

From a villa to a ten square meter

Consequence: the comedian became banned from banking.

His “villa with a swimming pool was sold by candlelight”.

“I found myself in a ten square meter apartment on the port of Sète,” he remembers.

Since then, he says he has learned lessons from this bad experience.

From now on, with his own company, Jeanfi Janssens pays himself “the same salary every month”.

“That way, I don’t get lost, and the surplus is placed on society.

I saw the life I had before, I tell myself that it’s not worth starting again.”

“I’m kind, I’m too generous,” he added.

Former steward, Jean-Philippe Janssens, his real name, became a comedian in 2015, making himself known on stage by talking about his northern origins, his homosexuality, and telling anecdotes around his first job.

Since mid-January and until April, he has hosted his show “Tombé du ciel” at the Grand Point-Virgule theater in Paris, before starting a tour across France and Belgium.
