The extension period granted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry for the adaptation of the labels of wine and flavored products to the standards set by European Regulation no. 2021/2117 ends on 8 March.

To make this information effectively readable, which is important for the consumer but also cumbersome due to the space available on the bottles, one of the most practiced solutions is to insert a QR code on the labels which refers to a web portal on which wine producers can provide the information relating to each individual bottle.
