Possible cancellations and limitations of Trenitalia's regional trains on the occasion of the national general strike of the staff of the Fs Italiane group, proclaimed by an independent trade union from midnight to 9pm on Friday 8 March 2024.
Thus FS in a note, explaining that the essential services of regional trains will be guaranteed in the busiest time slots: from 6.00 to 9.00, and from 18.00 to 21.00.
"The strike could also cause potential impacts on the circulation of Intercity and High Speed trains", warns the group.
The effects, in terms of cancellations and delays, "may occur even before and extend beyond the end time of the strike", specifies FS, inviting passengers to inform themselves on the Trenitalia website, the Trenitalia app, the toll-free number 800 89 20 21, as well as at the ticket offices.
