Senior Hamas official Sami Abu Zuhri said Israel insisted on rejecting points of the agreement that would lead to a pause in fighting, ensure the arrival of aid and facilitate the return of internally displaced people to their homes.
The Hamas delegation has now left Cairo, although a source told Egyptian news channel Al-Qahera that talks would continue and resume next week.
