At the end of the forum Cirullo asked Putin if he could take a photo with him, because, he said, "in Italy they say a lot of strange things about her".
To which the president replied: "Sure, as long as you don't pinch me to make sure I'm a real person."
Putin then took a photo with the Italian artist and one with a young African man.
Jorit is also known for having created a large graffiti representing a little girl crying under the bombs in Mariupol, a Ukrainian city on the Black Sea conquered by Russian troops in 2022. "The idea - he explained - was to show the problems of the children of Donbass to the whole world. Western media often distort reality. For example, they talk about the suffering of children in one country, but remain silent about what is happening in the neighboring one."
A large mural of Ornella Muti, created by Ciro Cerullo, street artist known as Jorit, was inaugurated in the Russian city of Sochi in the presence of the actress and the artist and will remain in memory of the world youth forum at which he spoke last night President Vladimir Putin, who spoke with Jorit himself.
The portrait of Ornella Muti stands on the wall of a building on Khudyakov Street and was created as part of a street art festival which saw the participation of 25 artists from 11 countries.
"When I thought of a way to bring Italy and Russia closer together, I thought of the great actress Ornella Muti" said Jorit, quoted by the Russian media.
The actress, whose maternal grandmother was from St. Petersburg, is very popular in Russia and in recent days she was in Moscow to attend Fashion Week, where her daughter Naike Rivelli walked as a model.
