"Organic is a cornerstone of the strategy which sees environmental sustainability travel in parallel with that linked to productivity and the need to maintain social balance."
Thus the Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry, Francesco Lollobrigida, announcing the publication of the Notice, on the Masaf portal, which defines the methods of carrying out interventions aimed at encouraging the promotion and development of organic districts.
"The resources available for financing the projects - says the minister - amount to 10 million. Each proposal must have a budget of between 200 thousand and 400 thousand euros".
The project proposals, which may be presented by the organic districts recognized by regional and national regulations, must concern a local, regional and/or interregional territorial scope and may have as their object: initiatives for promotional measures in favor of organic agricultural products through organization of competitions, fairs and exhibitions dedicated to organic farming themes;
initiatives for the exchange of knowledge and information actions on organic production;
initiatives for consultancy services aimed at supporting companies active in the agricultural sector and young farmers.
The access requests, specifies a note from the Ministry of Agriculture.
