Some people remove lids from beverage cartons, while others don't.
There are a few reasons that clearly speak for this.

Sorting systems cannot separate waste as well as people in the household.

When it comes to waste separation, the general rule is: the better consumers separate their waste at home, the easier it is for the materials to be sorted and recycled in the facilities.
Therefore, the lids should be removed from beverage cartons.
