A replica of the Hamas tunnels in the Gaza Strip, where 136 Israeli prisoners are still held today, was set up in front of the European Chamber to raise awareness among MEPs to take action to free the hostages.
Inside the container that houses the replica of the tunnel under Gaza, an immersive experience lasting just three minutes was organized in which sounds of shouts, shots and images taken from Hamas videos are reproduced.
The container is decorated with the faces of the 136 women, men and children still held hostage overlaid with the words "bring them home now".
The initiative was organized by a group of relatives of the hostages and was exhibited for the first time last week outside the United Nations building in Geneva.
